No one can personally apply for tourist Visa to Bhutan.With the exception of visitors from India, Bangladesh and Maldives, all other visitors to Bhutan must need a visa to enter Bhutan. Application must be done by an authorised tour operator (Arcadia Bhutan Travels) in Bhutan on behalf of you.
You are required to send the photo-page of the bio-page, of your passport to us, and will then apply for your visa. The visa will be processed by the Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB) once the full payment of your holiday has been wire transferred to Bhutan in Tour Operators account. Upon receiving the payment tour operator will transfer in the TCB’s bank account. Once received the visa clearance will be processed.
At your point of entry you will be required to show your visa clearance letter, the visa will then be stamped into your passport.
The procedure you have to understand to obtain Visa:
Book a tour package with a licensed tour operator in Bhutan
Ensure that you have a passport with at least six months validity at the point of arrival in Bhutan
Provide a scanned copy of your passport (Bio-Page)
Visa will only be processed upon payment transferred and received in the TCB bank account.
It takes couple of days (72-hours) to get your visa approved.
